I know the D-word all too well. I am on the other side of it though, I am the one who leaves. It never gets easy to say goodbye, and it always put our family into a funk in the months leading up to the day. Good luck and well wishes to you and your family.

My wife just called me and said the exact same thing happened to her only she just poured one cup of coffee into the thermos and as she placed the pump in, the whole thing exploded! Have had that thermos for 5 years and never had a problem. I'm an afternoon drive radio personality in Palm Springs, CA and this makes for great radio! Gonna have to by another one I guess!

What our troops do for us is awesome…
In appreciation for all that our troops and their families do 4 R Freedom, I have written a song to express my appreciation and gratitude.
Please give it a listen at http://www.4RFreedom.US
There is also a page for our troops and their families to express the many hardships they endure while loved ones are so bravely serving this great nation.

Hey Tom,

You contacted me through my blog at http://starrwriter.wordpress.com/2007/08/30/looking-for-male-military-spouses/ back in 2008 regarding a book I was working on about the lives of male military spouses. Sorry I didn't get back to you right away. The book work was put on hold but now I'm back at it. I would love to talk with you and your male military spouse readers. Basically what I want to do is interview non-military male military spouses about their experiences with deployments, FRGs, kids and life in general. If you or any of your readers would like to talk, my e-mail address is joe@starrwriter.com. I look forward to hearing from you.

Best,
Joe
