Fluffy, My Erstwhile Appendix

I spent the better part of three days at the hospital over my Thanksgiving holiday. I developed some general abdominal uncomfortableness on Wednesday, and it hadn’t gone away by Friday, so we checked into the emergency room. After a CAT scan, my doctor, the same one who helped me with my elbow seven months ago,

Customized Photos

Wow, Cutline makes it so easy to change the header photos! Now, there are just a few more things that need rearranging…

New Look

So, I thought it would be useful to have a more adaptable layout for the blog. This is Cutline by Chris Pearson. It’s one of the most popular WordPress themes available because it has such a clean look. I love all the white space. I need to figure out how to customize the photos in

Job News

On Monday, I came to work to find a grim atmosphere. The Director of Fixed Operations (DFO) was stalking around the dealership and had taken over the General Manager’s (GM’s) office to conduct phone calls behind a closed door. Insufficient Postage

Three days after I sent out my batch of ten queries, first-class postage went up two cents. So, all my SASEs (Self Addressed Stamped Envelopes) had $0.39 stamps on them. An Update on My Health

Well, the swelling and pain in my arm have decreased by the day, and I am no longer wearing the sling. Hence, I can type two-handed! I have an appointment to get radiated again tomorrow, so I’ll know then how the healing has progressed. Yipee!

300

Apart from being the title of a great (read ‘stupendously entertaining’) new film, that is the number of queries Mr. Daniel Lazar claims to receive each week in his form letter response to my own query. It was really a very polite rejection, though. More on the movie: don’t see it for historical accuracy; don’t

E-Queries

I sent out a couple more e-queries last night. I did so while watching Triumph of the Will, which infer from that what you will. (That film is one everyone should eventually see. Especially if you’re a Starwars buff — absolutely if, like me, Empire is your series favorite.)

Rest in Peace, Bo.
