Danielle and I started watching the brilliant HBO western, Deadwood, and I haven’t gotten any writing done since.

Considering I have a deadline that falls a little too close to a hugely important life-changing event, that might be a problem.

But getting back to Deadwood, if you’ve ever watched a John Wayne flick and thought it was a little silly and unrealistic, then this is the show for you. Which is to say, if you’re just as jaded as I am by the vast amount of really mediocre media you’ve consumed, this show is just the thing to crack through the glaze that’s hardened over your eyeballs.
