This freelance writing thing is mystifying!
You wouldn’t believe the number of freelance job boards on the web (OK, so I don’t know how many there are, but there are lots). Many of the postings are looking for writers who will work for free, others pay very minimal fees. Others ask for bids.
Freelancers have to surf the job boards (they call it ‘trolling’) for work. A major milestone in a freelancer’s career seems to be the point at which they have enough steady work from return clients and referrals to keep from trolling the boards.
Mystifying.

Is that you? After reading some of the comments about Norfolk and being a military spouse (of the other sex) I figured it has to be you. How are you guys doing?
