The most recent agent to request the full MS for Lithium has responded, but the news is not good. She (OK, it was Susan Zeckendorf) didn’t think there was a narrative drive.
This is not good. Judy Heiblum didn’t connect with the main characters, and Ms. Zeckendorf didn’t find the story compelling enough. I’m starting to wonder if Lithium should be shelved. But then I also wonder if I’m being too sensitive and thinking perhaps I should persevere…
